Celebrating Veterans Day and the 244th Birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps

Veterans Day and the U.S. Marine Corps’ birthday are both very important to our entire Restor-It team. Our owner, Bob Rowley, is a proud Marine. Bob served from 1979 – 1987 on active duty as an anti-tank man, combat forward observer, embassy guard, and air traffic controller.

“Being a marine taught me loyalty, perseverance, and integrity,” Bob shares. “It gave me the ability to never give up and continue through all obstacles.”

These qualities helped Bob become an entrepreneur after active duty in the Marines. He says he always wanted to own his own business and flooring is where he started when he left the Marines. He’s owned Restor-It since 1989 and is proud of his team that serves the Marietta and Greater Atlanta community, providing quality flooring and home restoration services and products.

Celebrating Veterans and Military Cause All Year Round

Bob feels it’s important to support causes for those in the military and Veterans to give back. He participates in the Special Ops Warrior Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project fundraisers, and any other events to help and assist veterans.
